Palletized Storage Systems

Palletized Storage Systems

Palletized storage sits at the foundation of most warehouse operations — the right system determines how much stock can be held, how quickly it can be accessed, and how efficiently the space above the floor is used. Getting that choice right from the outset matters, because racking infrastructure is rarely easy or cheap to change once installed.
SPAN designs and installs the full range of palletized storage systems, from conventional selective racking to high-density drive-in, push-back, and pallet flow configurations. Each project starts with an analysis of the actual operation — SKU count, pallet weights, throughput requirements, available height, and handling equipment — so the system selected is genuinely matched to how the facility works, not just what fits on the floor plan.
All systems are engineered to carry the intended loads safely and, where required, can be designed to accommodate wind and seismic forces in accordance with European (EN) or American (RMI/ASCE) standards. For projects in seismically active regions or exposed locations, structural compliance is built into the design from the start rather than retrofitted.
The engineers behind each project bring decades of combined experience across industries and geographies: cold storage, FMCG, automotive, retail, and logistics, which means most challenges encountered on a new project have been solved before.
